Subscribe to the BlogTechnology for Learning is a podcast hosted by Michael Farmer and Michael Grace. The podcast covers the often ignored aspect of how to implement technology in the classroom in a way that it enhances learning rather than detract from it. In the podcast, Mike and Mike review technologies based on two major principles:
1) What course objectives can be more effectively enhanced by the technology
2) Has it established enough ubiquity that it can provide a consistent experience for all participants on any operating system.
Each technology reviewed in the podcast is given a score of RED, YELLOW, or GREEN to help both teachers and learners decide whether they should implement the technology in their classroom experience. All of the technologies, a brief summary of pros and cons, and their score is listed on this website under "The Technologies" page.
